Citizens Financial Services takes great pride in our commitment to ensuring the security of a customer's financial information. Our policy toward the sharing of your financial information exceeds federal legal requirements. In fact, we do not share your protected information (known as nonpublic personal information) with nonaffiliated third parties except for routine processing of a transaction at your request and as otherwise permitted or required by law. We do not share your protected information with outside marketing agents.
Information We Collect
For our internal use and contact purposes, we collect the following types of information about you:
- Information we receive from you on applications and other forms, such as name, address, email address, phone number, social security number, assets and income;
- Information about your transactions with us, such as account balances, payment history, parties to transactions, and credit card usage; and
- Information we receive from consumer reporting agencies, such as creditworthiness and credit history.
If You Close Your Account
If you choose to close your account(s) with us or if you become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices described in this notice.
How We Protect Your Information
We restrict access to protected information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products and services to you. We also maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to protect your information.
Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act
We may report information about your account to credit bureaus. Late payments, missed payments, or other defaults on your account may be reflected in your credit report.
